March 9, 2000
I am officially on Spring Break and I do not feel it at all. We went to calss this morning and then went to the National Musium for Art and Archeology. We decided to walk home this time, but kind of got lost. We ended up walking for close to 40 minutes. Joanna got kind of mad I think because she said I told her to go a certain way and I know I didn't tell her because I did not know where I was Anyway, I came home and then Joanna came by to get me so we could go to Perro's for coffeee. All the blondes were there too and they all got beers. We sat there until it was time for Greek class. We went to see a movie for class. We were planning on walking but decided to take the trolley instead for Helen. But it was not coming and I think the teacher was getting kind of worried. So we decided to walk and poor Helen was ready to die. We were the only ones in the theater except for one guy. The movie was so weird. It was about two brothers and one had to kill another man because of some vendetta. He had killed his grandfater. But it was the other brother who wanted to kill him. And then there was the girl who left Crete and went to Australia and wanted nothing to do with anything Greek. At the end the whole thing was cleared up and the girl married the good brother and the other brother opened up a cafe called Vendetta and the physcho grandma married the man she wanted killed. It was interestingly bad I must say. Walking home, we literally almost died. A bus came turning and must have stopped within a foot of us. Not even really that he stopped so much that we got out of his way. Poor Patty especially. When we got home, we tried to go to sleep but it did not really work. But my bed was so damn comfortable and the apartment was so warm. I actually felt cozy in ehre. We got up and got ready to go out. We tried to go to Rock n Roll but the crowd was too old. So we went to Jackson Hall. We managed to skip the cover charge. We had this waiter Tom who was kind of confused. I asked him to bring a daiquiri without alcohol and he had not concept of what hat was. He just seemed to think that our entire order was weird. It was kind of embarrassing I think. Anyway that place is crazy expensive but that is how the neighborhood is. Tomorrow Joanna is going to Argos and I don't know what I will do. But I have a feeling that she might want this time away from me.
