We ended up getting to Greece just fine which is what I assumed, but you just can't hep but be scared. We were in and out of the airport so quickly. When we got home, I just unpacked and tried to get some things in order but I was not that productive. Joanna totally passed out from the Dramamine. I woke her up and told her I was going to Vicky's. She ended up getting herself out of bed and coming with. We had a lot to say with Vicky today because of France and she had gone to the village. We went to Dinks and had a drink. She was hungry so we went to Goody's but Joanna did not want to eat there so they ate at Gus' instead. We came home and backed a small bag because we are going to an island tomorrow.
As for France, it is a beautiful country. I should start this over. As for Paris, it is a beautiful city. I could possibly say prettier than Madrid and I can say by far prettier than Athens. I can see how they say it is so romantic. The one thing that made it ugly for me was the weather. It was too cold but cloudy too. Gloomy is the word. As for the people, I cannot tell you what a French person looks like. They are very diverse. There was no particular look in terms of style about them either. I had no clue who was a Parisian and who was a tourist. That might have to do with the area we were in but I guess I will never know. I had heard that they are not friendly people and I agree. Not that they were terribly rude, but they made no effort when they saw you trying. I am sure most if not all the waiters know what water is, but when we asked for it, they pretended not to understand. And no signs were written in English. Not even at the Louvre. I have already mentioned the prices. Absolutely nothing was cheaper than Greece or America for that matter. I must comment though that it was a very clean city. Overall, I can say I loveParis. I will never forget seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle. I will never forget all the tents that said Bar Brassiere Restaurant with the glass all around and the little tables. I will never forget seeing the winged victory at the top of the staircase. I will never forget the taste of my gaufree.
